I am moving to 12 mile and 131 area, at the edge of the game area. Was just curious about the area and its uses, seems kind of close to residential area for hunting...thanks

Of course you can hunt there. That is the primary use of state game areas in Michigan.

You can hunt it if you don't mind sharing it with about a bazillion people from Nov 15 to the end of the month.

I don't know for sure, but you can check. Most area will be posted if you can't hunt....I know in NE...distance from residincial areas depends on what you are hunting....most places you can't shoot a gun withen a certain amount of yards from a house or building....If you call your local wildlife mang. agency they should be able to tell you for sure what regs. are in place there.

i don't think you can, but contact the office you got your hunting license at for sure. They should have a list of inappropriate hunting areas. Wouldn't want to accidently get a large dog...lol
