I would explain love as an emotion that you have inside for a person that you can't just put aside and trying to reason about the way you feel is impossible. For some reason when that person is around you want to be the best person you can and you can't but smile a goofy smile no matter how hard you try not too.
And you long for that person when they are not around, and the silliest things make you tihnk of that person.
Because regardless what AIR SUPPLY says, you can not make love out of nothing at all..

You can't explain being in love. You feel it, but you can never explain it. Love is too strong for just words. You'll know it when you find it. Just don't go looking for it and it will come to you. I've never had a girlfriend, I'm 17. I just don't want one yet and yes I have been in love before. Not very deeply, I just know it was there in a way.

You have to determine if it's really love or is it infatuation. Sometimes we are excited about the idea of being in love. If it's true love, you will just know. You will know by the way you feel when you are with the person, by the way you fell when you are not with the person and how the person treat you. It's no fun loving someone when they don't love you back. Don't give out what you are not getting back in return. Don't allow yourself to get hurt. Love doesn't hurt it covers, protect and comforts.

The way I explain it is by 1st giving it a name "head up your butt...itis" and thats cuz you walk around with your head in the clouds, daydreaming, nothing seems to bother you like it used to. You spend your whole day wondering how they are spending their whole day. When you're eating, you wonder if they're eating or what is their favorite food. when you're sleeping, you wonder if they're sleeping. You try on their last name, just BECAUSE. lol You get butterflies when you see or talk to them. When you're not doing that you're wondering when you will be doing that again. lol and you just want to look at them, or talk about them, hold their hand, be near them. Aint love grand:)

When you miss them, even just a little, about every second you're not with them. When you realize that you want them to be a part of your day, your life.
