when she came home and opened the door there was a row of candles lighting the floor and white flower pedals lining the floor in between them. it led to a table with more candles and pedals and a box in the middle surrounded by a bunch of pictured of us together. this is how i asked my wife to marry me.

I listened, broken hearted as the love of my life told me how much he loved my best friend. He had no idea how I felt about him. I did everything I could to help this man win over my friend and I did it because I loved him and wanted him to be happy. All these years later - my secret is still safe in my heart. I like to think it was a very romantic thing to do.

Ditched work, told no one. Hoped on a plane to Vegas. Spent the whole day walking around and gambling. Got a room *wink*, got back on a plane, went home. Co-workers didn't know, family, friends... it was just the two of us. We gave ourselves code names too. It was hilarious, fun, spontaneous, romantic...
I think that's one of the few days where we just held hands all day. We're both a little odd and quirky so that was for us, the best day of our lives. ;)

well when i was still with the mother of my son i called her sister to watch the kid made reservations for dinner had her favorite dress drycleaned she came home i got dressed up we went out to dinner meanwhile earlier that day i had cleaned the entire house bought a new sheet and comforter set for our bed and hundreds of candles set up all the candles around our now gorgeous bed so when we got home i had her sitting on the couch went upstairs lit all the candles came back down and carried here up laid her down and made love it was a good night

i bought all of the tickets for a romantic movie we both wanted to see just so it would be her and i alone in the movie.

I proposed to my wife in the middle of a restaraunt with the help of the waitresses, and kitchen staff....She bawled her eyes out, and of course said YES!
