I've done the same thing - housework & laundry have gone down the tubes!! When the weekend comes, I'm at my b/fs house & don't want to think about cleaning, bills, groceries!! lol
We can't help it - we want to spend every minute with our sweeties, forging that bond & basking in the glow . . .
We'll come back down to Earth eventually - reality check will kick in when we run outta clean sox or they threaten to cut off the light bill!! lol Just enjoy being in love - it's such a great feeling!

What responsibilites are you neglecting? Are you flaking on your friends and family? Are you not showing up to work? Have you stopped paying you bills? How many times have you been "in love" with different guys.

It sounds to me like you may let go of yourself when you are in a relationship. You give whole heartedly to your guy, and very little to yourself. Hold yourself and your heart back a little when you first start dating. Ease into the realationship and that will help keep you from throwing away who you are and what you are responsible for. It is not heathly for your entire focus to be on one person.

If you need more help with this, I would recommend getting a planner. Write out your responsiblities first; work/school, bills, family time, "me" time, etc... Then fill in time that it is ok for you to spend with your guy. Be a strong woman and stick to this. Guys respect a Woman that takes care of herself and who is responsible more then they respect a girl who flings herself on them. I have a feeling that you are more a Woman then a Girl and this should be easy for you. It just takes practice.

Most of us do when were in love. Things that used to seem important don't feel as important any more. We don't spend as much time with friends and family. The car goes unwashed, skip laundry for a while. ( You get the picture)
We want to spend every free minute with that person. We unknowingly change our priorities to be able to do that.
A lot of us feel like air heads. Floating on a cloud. We tend to get more clumsy and less focused. It can also seem the sky is bluer, the grass greener, the air fresher, etc.
Your in love, it's not terminal. You'll figure out how to stay on track and be in love. Balance in your life.

thats what we call Heart over Head syndrome...

its part of being in love. and is normal. but just like HEADACHES and Fever if symptoms persist call your doctor..

Doctors can be any members of your family or a friend whom you know is true to you..

Let me say it again.. IF Symptoms persist, consult your doctor

because you're stuck in a swamp of
being so stuck on a woman
that you'll allow your entire life
crumble, choosing to be with her
and all her attention-getting glory.

wise up.
