You will need to contact the Department of Motor Vehicle in your area (DMV). They will direct you on what you need to do to get them back.

Have you already received the letter from the MVA stating you're suspended, you can request a hearing, call them and ask them where can you get a form for that, you will have to pay a fee, I'm not sure how much. In the hearing you can go with a lawyer to request if you can have your license back, BUT....you have to have a good excuse on why you need your license back, one could be that you NEED it to go to and from work, etc, is in the judge (not sure how are they called but the person who decides that on the hearing) discretion to give you or not your privileges back. You don't say what traffic violation, perhaps you didn't pay the ticket?? if that's the case just pay the ticket, may be is something simple, again I don't know why they suspended you, but if is for not paying a ticket just pay it and they will restore your license. Good Luck!, just don't drive while suspended, get your problem fixed before you end up worse than before.

if your licsense is suspended cuz you didnt go to court, then you prolly have a warrant for your arrest.
you must turn yourself in
or maybe they will just waltz on into your place and get you anytime they want, espeacially when your doing something wrong so you'll get more time...

anyway, if you want to drive, you call the police station not 911 (or they might get mad) and ask them if you have a warrant.

you prolly do...

you gotta go turn yourself into the police.
if you turn yourself in, you tell the judge you turned yourself in so they will be ezer on you, but if you run and hide and they catch you in 5 years you will get more time...
you should get a lawyer if you can b4 you go to jail.
if you turn yourself in, you will see the judge within a few days..
if you go on a wednessday or thursday in the morning it is better cuz there is no court on weekends and the courts packed monday and tuesday from the people that get busted on the weekends.
if you go to the police station EARLY thursday morning, you might get to see the judge that day.
when you see the judge, it will ask you guilty or not guilty... if you plead not guilty, then you get another court date, you can get the next case with a jury its ezer to get off with a jury but it takes longer...
if you turn yourself in and plead not guilty, then you can tell the judge that you turned yourself in and they will give you bail... then someone can pay to get you out and you will have to go to court again for the trial...
if you plead guilty when you first see the judge, then the judge will judge you right there and give you your sentence. if you plead guilty, you should ask for community service and probation and a fine... you can get out if you plead guilty the judge might give you a soft sentence... if you plead guilty, there is no bail

if you plead not guilty and they dont believe you, you get more time in jail than if you say you did it

This was NOT a smart thing to do. Now you may have a contempt of court charge against you also.
