Women dating is sometimes what causes divorce, so I guess your answer is anytime you want.

Well, you don't want to have your ex's lawyer have any fuel to try and get out of paying as much alimony. If some states, it may be even used as a suit against your date. Alienation of affection. It happens.

I'd say, rule of thumb 2-3 months minimum... 1 year is overkill...

If she's comfortable with the time, then it should be fine. She shouldn't rush it because she might trade a witch for the devil in an emotional mis step.

I don't know if you have run into this yet or not. A friend of mine was told that she had to give up certain activities because she was divorced. These were church activities. The husband was fooling around with other women.

Anyway, people inside the church ostricized her because of the divorce. She came to me one day in tears... She was angry with them, God, the world... I said, "Don't be angry with God." "He's twice divorced himself. He gave a writ of divorce to both Israel and Judah because they were unfaithful and adulterous spiritually."

I said, "Anyone that gives you that 'you are inferior spiritually because you're divorce guff, you don't need them.'"

So when you or your friend is ready to date and have found a guy that they believe is a good man. Go and enjoy the relationship with no qualms.

Gee, I dunno dude. Let me look in the Women's Handbook under "How Soon Can Women Date After Divorce". Seriously, do you think there is some rule all women go by? Did you ever think that, just like men these women are individuals and it might be different for each one?

Once my girlfriend left me and 1 month later I started dating another. Several weeks later she moved in with me. I didn't realize it but I was on the rebound. That relationship didn't last 6 months. So I would say wait at least 6 months. Before you start dating again.

It depends on the situation. If a women had a particularly difficult divorce then it may be longer, however if they seem to have recovered quickly then asap!

I dated before my divorce was final. My Mom kinda scolded me for it but I explained to her that my marriage had been over way before we even filed for divorce. It had been over in my heart for about a year, I didn't need a court document to confirm it.

Depends entirely on you. There is no waiting period here and if you feel like going out, then do it. I think the sooner you get yourself back on your feet and socialising the better for you. You obviously got divorced because you were not happy, so go and enjoy yourself and "be happy". good luck
