Buy her some really nice clothing that will flatter her new form in the months to come :) Flowers are always a favourite, or something that she can treasure would be a really nice sentimental picture frame that she can put a picture of the two of you in and then a family picture once the baby is born :)

Get him a "world's greatest dad" t shirt or coffee mug. Or maybe a hat that says coach. Anything that would associate with him being excited about being a father.

Or even get him a child's playtoy.

I don't know, I assume you are trying to tell him you are pregnant with the gift.

Take her clothes shopping for maternity clothes. Believe it or not she will appreciate this in the months to come. And you really should take her to dinner and buy her flowers. Its romantic and when she is as big as a house she will not feel all that romantic.

Congradulations to you both.

You are very wise. Get her something for HER, not for the house. Jewelry is always nice, perfume, or if she is a collector of anything, add to it! I am sure you will carefully pick out a nice gift to make her birthday special!

What were you going to get her before you knew of your impending fatherhood? Sexy Lingerie is out for the time being... You might consider something personal like her favorite perfume, aroma therapy bath salts, stuff she can relax with for her girl time.
