Do you know any other medicines to use in order to cure from the neurotoxicity caused by ecstasy use?
I want to know if there are other medications besides the popular SSRIs.
Wellbutrin? Any other than that?

Cymbalta
Trazodone
Effexor
Remeron

SSRIs worked well.
The other option is to take a protien supplement called 5-HTP (5 hydroxytryptophan). You can get it at a health food store. It's the chemical precursor to seritonin and is allready in our food. Seritonin takes a month to build up, but with this supplement your body create it within hours. Take one before rolling and it'll ease the comedown, especially the depressing effects from lack of seritonin. Whether it stops neurotoxiticity is another question.

I really dont know why Dr.s perscribe SSRIs for serotonin recovery, thats not what theyre for, it even deadens the serotonin recpters more than they already are.
Drink lots of green tea and excersize.
And check the vitamin shoppe for 5-htp, costly but effective.
Try these things and youll be happy again, me and my ex were once in those shoes...
