I'd probably order a Crantini, I know a lot of beer drinkers who order a taxi to another pub.

Ooh...if I've been drinking beer all night up to this point, I'd probably just switch out to water. I've had bad experiences with switching drinks.

But if I'm walking in and realizing that the club is out of beer tonight, then I'll probably go for frozen margaritas instead.

Don't switch, stick with what you were already drinking, if the place is out of beer, go somewhere else. Mixing different types of alcohol can make you ill, not to mention the hangover you'll have the next day.

I like rum and coke or mojito. I normally only drink beer though. Originally it was just because I was a poor college student. Now it's because I've become a conneseur and like tasting different beers.

If I'm out with the guys, then it would be Tanqueray & Tonic, and if in the company of a fine lady, then 7&7 or Margaritas with Tequilla shots in the Summer.

I would prefer Scotch on the rocks. A purist will be horrified at that thought of ice. Overseas, Americans are often singled out for their desire for ice in beverages and cold beer.

Cuba Libre - Havana Club rum, coke and crushed limes.

Needs to be genuine Havana Club rum from Cuba though, rather than that dreadful bacardi rip-off...
