I get the same thing ... I'm 25 & my dad is 43 ... I've never taken it in a bad way ... I laugh and move on ... I think it's funny ... and my dad thinks he's still the sh*t .... lol .... when we go out together we have a good time ... we're always laughing and smiling so I think people just assume we're together ... if it bothers you so much make him wear a name tag that says " I'm her dad " ... lol ... !

Well how old are u? How old is he? Ohh wait that dont matter. Maybe your dad is a fox, or maybe u look older then u are. or maybe both of u are cute and thats why ppl think that. There are ppl out there dating ppl that are like 20 or even 30 yrs older then them selves. Some ppl may frown upon it. Just dont worry about what other ppl think. You know he is your dad. Thats all that matters.

If you are one of those father-daughter people who go around holding each other's hand or arm, I could understand other people's reactions. I always think that's weird when I see fathers and daughters who do that.

because of the similarities that you have. when a couple truly loves each other, they begin to look alike. since you came from your father and mother, they thought that your similarities are brought about by you being a couple. be glad and rejoice. at least you are sure that you are the daughter of your father. you are not an adopted child.

Maybe they jest, but with the world today some of these old geezer want babies instead of women and some people see it that way and if they say you have a nice daughter they get mad cause its thier wife diaper they are changing.

maybe he looks young for his age,and if your walking down the street holding hands ,well some people automatically think your a couple.you don't see a 12yr old and up holding hand with there dad no more.

Its funny you say that..someone has thought me and my dad were too and that my 2 year old daughter was his..LOL...i guess since so many woman are dating much older men..they just think like that!!

Sometimes people seem more mature than what they are and it is easy for people to misjudge you. Or maybe you just look like a couple because you look alike.
