If memory serves me correct, it takes around 40 mins in a taxi. About the same distance from London Heathrow to the West End.

The great news is that cabs at JFK have to charge a fixed fare from the airport to any hotel on Manhatten Island, so give those touts a miss. You have to pay tolls in addition though.

It takes about 40 minutes from the airport to the Island, depending on what time you arrive, and your cab driver!

I once did it in about 20 minutes....but then I think I had Nigel Mansell as my cab driver, and it was a bank holiday.

It takes about twenty minutes or so on the Long Island Rail Road to get into Penn Station, which is $5 or $7 plus the $5 to get the SkyTrain to the station.
You can also take the subway into Manhattan, which takes longer (at least an hour) but is only $2.

In terms of purely distance, it's about 15 miles or so from the city.

Its gonna take about 30 minutes to an hour (at the worst) depending on the transportation you choose, remember that you have many options (train, bus, taxi) but it will most likely depend on where in manhattan youre going to decide which will take you closest to where youre going with the least hassle. Taxi will be more expensive most likely but may be better if youre going slightly outside the city.. :)

Get the airtrain to the subway and get either the A train via lower Manhattan or the E train to midtown. Takes about an hour and costs £7.50!

JFK is in all probability your terrific guess. it somewhat is somewhat commonplace and from my experience, each and every thing runs easily. besides, Newark airport is in New Jersey. despite if it somewhat does not count number the place u fly into, JFK will in all probability get you the place you're able to be able to desire to be swifter
