I live in a nieghborhood where 90 percent of the people are illegals. (forced to live here because me roomate got me evicted) Anyways I am constantly being threatened and chased by little gangster cholos and I soon see East LA here in Neveda and other places. If the Illegal Mexicans supposively have such great family values and raise there children better than Americans then why are there children some of the most out of control scariest people I have ever been around? I don't want to get involved in their little gang wars but even if I mind my own business they are so confrontational.

The last time I had a problem was when a teenager was standing in the middle of the rstreet near a corner When I turned the corner at 25 miles per hour ( the speed limit) I had to slam on my breaks I stopped like 25 feet away from him and drove by very slowly. He refused to move from the street acting like I was in his way Then he was cussing asking me to get out of the car if I have a problem. Saying what ***** throwing gang sighns at me. If I wasn't on my way to work and not had time I would've stopped and had a little chat with him. Then i would probably have got in a fight. You can't talk things over with people like that. They are violent.

My roomate got me evicted it is not MY fault! Anyways Barret you are a rooky to this site people say that all the time. I am not racist yes I am half hispanic my family is all legalI just think it's horrible that illegals can come terrorize citizens and get away with it. It doesn't matter that other poor neighborhoods do it too. What matters is illegals shouldn't be here in the first place to terrorize innocent Americans. And I know they don't all do that but some do. No excuses it's just wrong.

Yeah, as you read here, you're the problem, not them.
I live in a semi-rural agricultural community where there a lot of migrant workers and a lot of other Hispanos, some of whom are undoubtedly descended from migrant workers from years before. That's okay, I have no problem with that and to make one thing crystal clear, I AM NOT a racist. I have several Hispanic friends, I love the culture, and I don't care who comes to the US to live as long as it's done legally. Having said that, here's what I have a problem with -
I have a good friend who is a builder. He generally builds homes in the $400K - 700K range. One of the biggest problems he has is with thefts from his job sites. He's had air conditioning units stolen, ladders, you name it. He even lost a steel I-beam that probably weighed a thousand pounds. One several occasions the culprits have been caught in the act. In every case they were illegal aliens from Mexico and in every case someone from the D.A.',s office came out and spoke with the perpetrators (en espanol) and said they weren't going to file charges because they (the perps) didn't really realize that what they were doing was wrong and they'd let them go. When these thefts occur, my friend has to file an insurance claim and has a $1000 deductible. The Sheriff's department won't investigate because there are so many of them. So, here are the facts as they are known:
1. In every case where the perpetrator(s) were caught in the act they turned out to be illegal aliens.
2. In every case the D.A. turned them loose without filing charges.
3. Where the theft occured and the items weren't recovered there was a $1000 deductible that an innocent home builder had to pay.
4. The sheriff's department won't investigate the crimes.
Now, there might be some who will throw around the racist claim here. Under these circumstances is it any wonder why there might be some hard feeling toward illegals? And the system?

I don't think its the race or national origin that causes people to act like this. I think its more that they are the product of their environment. I am assuming that this is in a bad neighborhood with cheap house correct? You can see the same situation in places such as the Bronx in NY or some parts of downtown Houston. Most illegals that I know (I live in a middle-upperclass neighborhood who have neighbors who hire illegals to do work) are hard working and have good morals and values.

Take a long look in the mirror...and get some street education before you start blaming the neighbors...Oh yea, watch East LA again, I believe it was most in Mexico not East LA. If you think that was bad I would hate to live where you think the world is good.

Yes I have lived in neighborhoods like that too and I completely agree with you. I have never been confronted by them, however their lack of education makes them bad parents. Also for the most part, the ones I've met only the father works (usually a pretty low paying job) and the mom stays at home popping out babies. The women are often very lazy and do not teach their kids anything about values, at least not American values.
ALso, however, I agree with one poster on here that said it has to do with the nieghborhood. U are living in a neighborhood that is a bit of a "last resort" because you got evicted from a good neighborhood. Theres pleanty of illegals in good neighborhoods too that manage to live unnoticed, with american lifestyles, because they have morals and values.
So I guess it depends more on the nieghborhood than the race.

I live on the border, so I come in contact with illegals all my life...I have lived in the barrios and I have lived in middle class neighborhoods....When I lived in the barrio, I didn't experience what you speak off....I made it a point to reach out to my neighbors, such as during thanksgiving, I sent a turkey with all the trimmings to my next door neighbors.....They were speechless....During Christmas, I sent my other neighbors, two houses down from me, gifts for there children, these people couldn't even afford to buy there children gifts.....My point is, you will always have thugs in poor neighborhoods, but you also just have poor people and being poor is not a crime, if you perhaps reach out to those people, they will be some of your best neighbors, as they were for me....Just a thought in spreading some kindness in the world, a little goes A LONG WAY...

Ok well I am around alot of illegals but not mexicans. But you need to make sure you don't just let that go. I assume that you are in this country legally, and I assume that your an american or a legal citizen. Well if you are, that means this is your country. And I would go out there and remind that little son of a b*tch. Because if he thinks he can walk up in America talking a bunch of bullshit to people that are legal, he is wrong. Because any american can take him out of this country just as fast as he came in. Make him recognize. But if he doesn't speak english, don't even waist your time... If he keeps it up. Call the police, and he will get deported. Strictly because of his stupid very stupid smartass little attitude.

You should note that this race is not known for it's physical strength. Consider then that the evolution of their bio-psychology (instincts) would call for a pack/mob mentality. This would also account for their prolifigacy. The only solution is to either a) join the mob, or b) show yourself too great a challenge for even the mob to attack, or c) extricate yourself from the situation (you are an outsider irrespective of the geographical location).

It does not matter what race you are from, african american, hispanic, europeans, asians are good people and some of their kids are really bad, no matter if you give your kids the best education sometimes they dont listen and what they learn in the street is more appeling to them so dont blame the family and their values. you just happen to be in a neighborhood where there is a lot of mexicans if you were in one where there are lots of whites or african americans you will be complaining about them too

Stefany D said it best...how many top 8 or 12 friends do you have on your myspace that have family links to illegal family members. I wonder what they would say if they saw what you posted on here and they really saw what kind of a person you are. Don't stereotype anyone, don't hate, don't put anyone down. You'll just end up bitter...that's right bitter. That's probably why you're still single.

I had a choice a very big choice in my life

I knew that the people who worked in the same building as i did that were cleaners were illegal and for months we talked some didnt speak english and they were very good people. You live in an area where its over populated hense crime drugs and disease come into play where as i do not see that sort of thing, but i had to make a choice and i did it was either let them work here illegal or call ins and have them deported

I basically had to choose nice people or america

and i will always choose america!!!!
