It's ok to have sex as long as your doctor says it's ok... Especially in the first and second trimester. Tell your doctor if you have any bleeding or leaking of fluids or cramping. some cramping is normal after sex. Especially if you orgasim... Your uterus always contracts after that. But keep your doctor informed with whats going on. And if the doctor tells you it's ok enjoy it. I actually enjoyed sex a lot more while preggo. Plus you''ll be to tired and busy after you have your baby... so enjoy!!!

Of course it's safe, actually it's recommended. Not only is it good exercise, But when you Orgas, the chemicals your body release have been known to be healthy to the baby. How ever you must not be too rough. Be careful during the 3rd trimester though, use a condom because sperm is a natural labor inducer, that is why if you are close to or over your due date a doc will recommend sex.
A lot of docs will actually recommend a condom throughout anyway to cut down on any chance of infections getting to the baby. Have fun, and Congrats!

I take it you haven;t been to a laumaze class yet. Yes, it is fine to have sex while pregnant. Most women don;'t have a high sex drive while pregnant and it's essential that the woman is comfortable.

No, actually it is recommended (unless you are at high risk and a doctor tells you otherwise) however, if not, it is good, they say it makes labor easier! so.. have fun!
