well dont get it if your boss would freak out! facial piercings are not allowed at my work eith, if we have one we cant even put a clear retainer in to replace the normal jewelry. in an hour im going to go and get my ears pierced with a neele, little nervous lol. i have 2 already done with a needle on my lower lobes, a upper cartiledge and got my navel done over the summer. I looked into gauging my ears. its supposed to tke 6 to 8 weeks for a 20ish gauge ear piercing to heal. but you should wait a few more months just to make sure it is completely healed. Yiou can go online and buy things called tapers. which stretch your ears gradually. you can find them on www.steelnavel.com. I talked to a professional peicer online here and she said you should wait one month in between stretches. When you stretch your ear you're actually creating small tears in the skin so wait a month for them to heal then move up to the next size. ! =) also there is somethign you need to look out for, called a "blow out"

there is the information i was able to gather about gauging your ears. hope it helps you! good luck. but i would stay away fromt he facial piercing if i were you, it will only cause you problems int he long run (with jobs and such) lol
but its your decision =)
oh bandaid are not a great idea! your body needs! oxygen to hel itself. and you covering ir up with one will cause moisture to form and bacteria that can get your peircing infected. especially since its an oral piercing alreadt you will only increase the risk of gettign it infecrted.you know after you have bandaid on your finger of somthign and you peel it off and its soggy and weird looking. not a good idea for a piercing.. the badaid could pull the piercing to make it "migrate" move to a differnt position. so in other words just dont get it at all!

there is a flaw with that. The bandaid has to come off some time. Unless your plan to wear the bandaid for 8 hours of everyday that you work. ( more or less depending on the hours you work). the bandaid will be noticeable to people who talk to you because they will be close enough to see it, clear or not. then they will be woundering why you were that bandaid every day. do you see were I am going with this? I don't think you would want to be known as the bandaid man at work. with bandaid jokes at your expense. Just something to think about. wink

The great thing about mullets and big hair in the 80's is when we all grew up after, we could ditch the look. Tattoo's and piercings are harder to hide when the folly of youth is past. Will it look good when you are 45? Please look at women in their late 30's who still have big hair because that's where you are headed (except those women can get a makeover). Best of luck.

Thats a piercing question.
Sometimes people get brainwaves: don't do this...
they don't listen. they want someone else to help them make a bad decision.
if you want to do it --do it.
what do you care about your job.
You want to look silly so let you boss know you think silly also.
Freak out-your boss naw.
I think she'll know you've freaked out.
hey get a job in a circus.
or maybe some club that does not have any class.
have you heard--brain piercing is the latest "in" thing-lobotomy!
OH, its the rage.
