If you have had a license suspended, you can't drive. Period. In any state. No, you can't go to another state, lie about it and get a license issued to avoid the suspension. The computer will catch it. Do whatever it takes to get the suspension lifted in Texas.

They all know when you've had your driver's license suspended. I just hired a new maintenance man and our insurance figured out he had a suspended driver's license in another state. Until he fixed that, he couldn't get a driver's license here.
