Same as adults. In the hospital, we usually call the doctor if the temp os over 101 and doesnt go down and stay down with Tylenol.

A temperature of 100.5 is an actual slight fever. Treat with lots of fluids, rest.. etc...

At 101.5 you should schedule a doctors appt. to find out where the fever is coming from.

At 102. you need a same day doctors appt or emergency room

Anything higher than 102 needs to go to the emergency room ASAP

on a thermometer it should be around 95 - 97..anything higher should be watched..never pass 100
