When I was younger it happened the same to me. I almost broke my head against the floor...instead of taking me to a doctor (coz I was alone in a little town) I just got some rest but then, I started vomiting as crazy and couln't see very well! It's was terrible but I could get through that by myself. Again...think it's better if u see a doctor!

The best way to alleviate your fears is call the doctor. You can be asked questions about other things your son may/may not be experiencing. You should get a recommendation as to whether or not you need to get him to the ER. Don't read any more answers - just do it!

First make sure you call ask a nurse or even a quick medic care place , they will be able to assess whether you should take him to the er or not.

concussion. did he eat anything between the time he bumped his head that could have made him sick. was he sleepy after he bumped his head, or did you let him take a nap, that could be a sign of a concussion

Take him to the emergency room, it could be a concussion. He is probably fine, but just to be safe, take him in.
