Personally I think Charlotte sounds more appealing, but Clare is a name that will never go out of fashion, it can be quite sophisticated

Charloote sound mystyrious for some reason and sound quite nice so if your going for the chhh and lotte kinda sounds it rolls really nicely on your toungue. But you can say charlotte in this horrid manner . clare is a very feminine delicate name and very appealing and sweet so clare has definatly got my vote. Also Clare is a more orignal unique name.

Charlotte for love and optimism, Clare for understanding and unity! Thats my opinion and the latter seems to be more appealing!

Charlotte sounds more extravagant but intodays society most kids wouldn't want to run around saying their name is Charlotte. Clare is a simple name but is easy to spell and most and foremost easier to remember, especially by your peers
