Seriously, you carry around this silly "holy" bible and yet you never seem to finish it, whats the deal? Do you need someone to read it too you, oh right I forgot you have someone do that every sunday for your entire life!

It doesn't seem this book is working out for you, maybe you should move on to a new book you can finish and take back your sundays

I mostly agree with you, although I believe you were a bit rough. Christians like to use their "bible" to gain moral high ground, and they pick and choose which parts of the bible they want to use against the other religions. But, there are many many places in the bible that contradict itself, and that is what they choose to conveniently ignore. I find this very amusing, because I can use the bible against people in debates. They say the bible says one thing, and I can go and find where it contradicts itself. Makes for alot of fun. =P Anyway, I think it's a bit strange how so many people base their belief system on the words of one book. If I go into Microsoft word, and write a book saying that it was made by some higher being, and bury it in my backyard, would someone 100 years from now dig it up and start a religion based upon it? What's that? No. But, somehow so many people believe this one little book. It;s the same thing, really. And they don't even know how many people in the past have payed to alter the bible to their liking. it's been changed enormously over the ages! From translation, to missing books, to alterations made by rulers of the past, the bible is a very different book from when it was first written. In fact, many of the things in the bible are copy's of other religions from the past! The bible is not an original book, and it's not even accurate from when it was first compiled.
End of rant.

Iya tola Bushski,
The Bible is something that is deep. Some call it the living word. You see, we don't just read it to impress people, we try to understand it. There's a lot to understand. It's as deep in wisdom as anyone can fathom. There are mysterys, but there are a lot of revelations as well. On top of all of that, the Spirit of God shows us some of those mysterys. The reward is to stay in it, and it bring us light and life. If you do not have the Spirit of God working in you, you start saying things like what you just said. Pretty sad.

Or maybe you should investigate Christianity and see for yourself why there are so many followers. Are you this cold to make fun of something you obviously have very, very little knowledge about?

Have you ever read the Bible? Have you ever tried to read it? Or is it on the shelf collecting dust?

I recommend you try reading it before you make a harsh, insulting critique like this.

By the way, kiss this question good-bye. Christians, like myself don't need this type of harassment.

I have finished it several times, and yet it still has meaning, truth, and gives direction to me.
Yes to me it is "Holy" as to others the koran is holy....what is wrong with that.
If you don't like the book stop worrying about what I read, If I desire someone to read it to me and it doesn't bother them or me what is that to you?
Grow up and stop trying to tell me how to live my life!!!
Other people are different from you, accept that fact and take it like a man!!!!

How stereo typical of you! I am faithful to God and belong to no church. I love God, He knows I love Him. He also knows I have been trying to read the bible for almost a year on my own, interpreting things for myself. My Sundays are a holy day, but I don't go to church. But the bible is of a different time, and 2000 years later it is somewhat difficult to understand, but He knows I try, that's all that matters.
Just for the record ~ it is definitely working for me. My faith in God doesn't need to be proven, He knows by my words and deeds. He's got my number.

JESUS DON"T HAVE ANY FREAKS, He has a BRIDE MAKING HERSELF READY. Now you said our book the Bible is silly, To you it is, because you have a carnal mind To us we have a spiritual mind, & my dog can learn more than you can with that type of mind,, I guess about the only thing you read is a Mickey Mouse book. Or can you read, I forgot my dog knows more than you do.
