It really depends on your level of commitment. If you are truly in love, and in a commited relationship, it should not be a problem. And if you can travel to see each other with some kind of regularity, I don't see why it wouldnt work. Im not saying its easy, cause its not....

Yes, I was in a long distance relationship for two years and I have now been married for almost 3 years with that person. However, you need to realize that it will be very hard and at times you will want to give up. But the most important thing is that you trust each other, it you don't it will never work out. Always make sure that the communication is very good, that is the only thing you will have. Do small things to let each other know how much you care, try sending letters or cards over the mail. It is the small things that make the biggest difference. Hope it works out.

Well, I can only talk about mine....my bf was not only maintaining a relationship with me, he was also chatting up and dating other girls....so in my case it didn't work out. Trust is a big part of a long distance relationship.

i think it depends on how much the two people are able to communicate. if the communication is strong and often occuring, then i think its possible the relationship will work. if its not, however, i dont think the relationship stands a chance.

Depends on the distance. How often do you get to see eachother and are both of you making an effort to make it work?

Yes I do. If both parties want it to work then it will but it has to be a joint thing that both are willing to put to the test and make it work. If one dosen't want it or dosen't care then it wont work
