He lost the old one and I know he loved it, so I thought this would be nice. Also, at least one game and and maybe an outfit. My budget will allow this, but do you think I am spending too much? This should all come to around $250.

Just for the record, I am 21 and he is turning the same age, I am not trying to "buy" his love. I make very good money (so does he)and $250 is no big deal to me. He has spent about the equivalent on me thus far.

i would say yeah its a little over the top, maybe just the ps2, and let him buy the games and dont worry about the outfit, does he drop lots of cash on you? take that into concideration, because you dont want him to feel guilty if he dosent have the money to spend on you.

I personally find that to be over the top. If I was in his situation I would feel very uncomfortable recieving a gift like that. He may think you are psycho. The same holds true if it was a guy going over the top for a girl he's only been seeing three months. Back off and find something cheap, but personal. Sometimes the smallest things can hit someone the hardest if they didn't know you knew that much about them.

Yes. 3 months is not a long time for you to be investing so much money. How about a nice dinner an outfit and a card. You will regret paying so much if it doesnt work out. Save some of your money for the one year anniversary!!

no, but I can almost guarantee you that if you buy him a video game then it will propell this to a permanent relationship, just joking. You might want to go a step further and get a PS3, I know it is super expensive, but a guy would much rather have the newest and best, but then again he has games for his PS2. Tough choice, but great gift idea!!

Ummm...how old is your boyfriend? And how old are you? I would never buy a man who is supposed to be grown a gaming system for his birthday. My sister did it and now her old man stays up til the wee hours playing the damn thing.....but then again he was never a man to begin with so I guess that explains it all right there.
