My daughters is m/o and I am looking for another diaper brand and I am trying to save money. We use Pampers Cruisers now and they are fine. I tried Luvs but they seemed to sag a lot and did leak also. Has anyone tried the store brands? Do they stretch to fit? Any advice or experiences would help! Thank goodness I wont have to worry about diapers for too much longer!

I usually am sorry when I go cheaper and I dont know why I try. Are the original pampers and huggies as good as cruisers and supreme?

When my child was in diapers I tried everything from the store brands, cheaper brands, and name brands...Pampers are the best!! The others seemed to sag, get soaked a lot quicker, and at times his bowel movements even came out the sides...Pampers were the only ones that worked for me. I know diapers are totally expensive when you buy the good ones, I have been there sweetie! I registered at pampers.com and they would send me coupons for $3.00 off and $1.75 off, even that little bit helped. Also, if you have a Sam's club near you, they sell pampers in bulk, and it is cheaper. My suggestion would be to register with pampers online, get the coupons, and head to Sam's :-)

Well, We always use the cheapest brand. We usually use Parents Choice. I HAVE had a few leaks over the years, but they usually work just fine and fit well, too. There was a time when my daughter went through a short stage where all that would work for her was Huggies, and that was expensive, but they were the only ones that didn't seem to leak at the time. My boy is almost a year and a half and all we've used with him are the cheapest ones because money has been so tight. But if you don't count a couple leaks in his long 16 months of them, we have never had a problem. Maybe some kids tend to go more than others, but sometimes those diapers have been very, very pee-logged! :) If there is a leaking problem, it could be the way they got re-positioned as the child was playing, or the size might be a little too big, too.

I used Luvs when my daughter was first born, but I had gotten some Huggies at my baby shower that I really liked. Eventually I switched to buying the Huggies, becuase of the stretchy waistband, because I had people either putting on the Luvs too loose or too tight when they changed my daughter. I don't remember why, but I have tried the Huggies Supreme and liked the regular ones better. The only store brand I have tried were the Walmart brand ones, and they totally sucked. I would be hesitant to even donate them to anyone. They wouldn't stay up, they kept almost falling off. Not dependable at all. I've never tried any Pampers, but I do prefer their Sensitive baby wipes over any other wipes I've tried...

I use pampers or the new Huggies although I still prefer pampers, i buy huggies with coupons. I never had a problem with Luvs however they arent all that much cheaper. maybe $1.00. I have tried White Cloud- AWFUL I have tried especially for baby (babies are us brand) they worked fine but my son got a horrible rash and another generic kind that were really bad too. Just buy small packs and see if they work, if they do stick to them, if not just suck it up and pay a few more dollars, leaks and rashes arent worth a few bucks., good luck!

I tried the cheaper diapers and they gave my daughter a rash, they didn't hold the wetness like Huggies. After seeing how red her little bottom got after wearing those diapers convinced me there are just some things you don't scrimp on. And I changed her diapers very regularly, I can't stand to see a baby wearing a saggy diaper. I prefer the Huggies supremes, and they were usually about a dollar cheaper than the Pampers.

Anything pampers hands down!! The pampers swaddlers seem to do so good for my 4 month old and i have tried everything else. I plan on using the Cruisers when he goes into size 3. And remember you usually get what you pay for!

I use either huggies or pampers, because the less evpensive brands make my daughter break out like there is no tomorrow. I have tried the luvs, and they were ok, I have also tried some store brands, and they were ok too, other than breaking her out.

I use Pampers Swaddlers/Cruisers. I was sorry when I tried other brands. The Pampers Baby Dry line is almost as good.

My little one is potty trained, but when she was in diapers I used Luvs and Pampers Baby Dry --- I preferred the pampers over any other brand, but the Luvs were okay too.

I use pampers cruisers only. Luvs gave her a terrible yeast infection. While she was unmobile i used walmart brand diapers but once she started moving around, we used pampers.

Good Luck! And i'm in the same boat as you i cannot WAIT for my girl to be potty trained! :)
