My cats like boxes (to play in) any kind of fuzzy toy that doesn't have parts that come off in their mouths, and the occasional paper bag to stalk and kill.
They eat, sleep, play, potty, purr, claw...pretty much in that order. They also give unconditional love.
They eat commercial cat food, intended for them, of the best quality I can buy. "People food" isn't a good idea, and NEVER give them bones.
Keep them inside, and have them neutered or spayed, for their good as well as yours. They live longer, and are perfectly happy inside. Don't declaw. How would you feel if someone cut your fingers off at the first knuckle?

My kittys eat purine kitten chow, cause Iams didn't sit well on her stomach. I feed her some canned food every once in awhile for a treat.... Her favorite toys are those little furry mice with the tails, she like those better then toy balls.... Cats don't do much, eat, sleep alot and play some depending on the age. They are an animal that needs little from us humans, but are wonderful creatures! : )

cats will play with anything, for example, a little ball of yarn, some string, a crumpled up piece of paper, a little ball, anything. you can buy cat toys at a pet store(or walmart) or you can make your own.
cats do any number of things, but what they like to do is play, hunt, and sleep. kittens play all the time, they run around, jump on things, and are always looking for something to get into. older cats play too, but it is more of a hunting thing to them. they like to stock their pery, be it a real animal(a mouse or a bird) or a little play toy. and all cats love to sleep, period.
Cats eat alot of things. Besides what you can find in a pet shop(or walmart) they eat birds, mice, rats, sometimes bugs, like flies or spiders, little lizards(like geckos).

Feed cats dry catfood that is 100% nutritionally complete. Also add some meat~canned cat food. Cats pretty much just like to sleep & play. They hunt at night (even if its just a toy.)They sell cat toys & they like paper bags to play in,,toilet paper rolls,,milk caps,,there are many home made toys.

The book "Cats for Dummies" is excellent and covers all aspects of cat behavior, nail trimming, vaccination requirements, feeding etc. It's a great book to have as a handy reference on anything feline and will give you an excellent basic cat education.
