I knew a man
his name was max
he killed his wife
with an axe
now he pays
for what hes done
hes in jail
where he belongs
I knew a boy
his name was tom
he shot his sister
with a gun
now he pays

she killed her friend
with a hammer
now she pays

she killed her baby
with termination
now she crys

but shes not in jail

she commited murder
so why dosnt she pay
like everyone else does?
whether its an axe

does it matter?

where should she be?
in jail maybe?
if murder is so wrong
then help stop abortion

totally agree, abortion is wrong... if you don't want the baby, then put it up for adoption... one of the first things to form is the heart, so it is a living thing for those people who think it isn't...
i know this isn't going to stop abortion but it makes you think...
there are some exceptions tho, maybe that person was raped or there is some kind of complication and it is a decision they have to make... i understand those cases but the others that get pregnant because they don't think to wear a condom and think everything will be okay should not be able to... if there is no real reason and you just "don't want it" then you should give it up for adoption or something so that other people who aren't capable of having children can adopt them...

That poem is totally true... It doesn't matter what the situation is, that's no reason to kill an innocent baby... All those "females" that's saying that when a guy gets pregnant they can make the rules are pretty much evil.. They might not have been here if there parents had decided to abort them.. They should be thankful

I like your poem, but unfortunately not everyone will agree. I am against abortion, but not if the woman was raped by a stranger, by a family memeber, or a chld that is just 12 or 13 years old. I know that the baby did not ask to be conceived in this manner, but there could be many problems down the road. If by rape by a stranger, you have no idea what his medical history is or what runs in his family or will this child grow up with this type of gene to rape, will he be angry for the way he was conceived? Rape by family memeber, the many problems of emotional and could possibly turn out retarded or many other illnesses or diseases. A child that young should not have to endure what a grown woman endures and it could possibly harm her body even more because a child's body of that age is not ready for that kind of stress to be put on her body. But just for a teenager to go out and "play" and then get pregnant just to abort the child is totally ludacris. My motto is, "YOU PLAY, YOU PAY". If you are old enough to do the act, then you are old enough to take on the responsibilities.

Since you ask I have thought about it and think this poem is really poor. It is badly written and spelt, it doesn't scan and is full of mawkish sentiment.
You're entitled to your opinion and to express it, but as for being a poet? Don't give up the day job.

that was beautiful. i told my self and my family i will NEVER get an abortion no matter what. if i was raped or if i was too young. because i think that it is wrong, you could be killing the person who could cure cancer, or the first woman president. i even participated in a rallly to help stop abortion. i looovvveeee this poem i may show this to some one and put it in the paper or something to show people how serious this is. if that is alright with you.

i love it and i am against abortion we need to stop it if god did not want us to have kids he would not have givein them to us they ant nothing but little angles but dont send them to heaven let them spend time on earth let them see what it is like to live im a man and i cant see why ppl do things like that i just could not see my self killing my little girls she is my wourld i would give her my life if i had to

What if she was raped???
Would you make her keep the child of the man who raped her?
To see his face in the face of that child?
To harbor resentment towards that child?
To feel threatened by memories of the incident whenever the child is near?
