Maybe you are right, or maybe you are wrong. Maybe the young lady meant prolly - an umbrella (brolly) for a pram = prolly. You know something, I am probably right, then again prolly not......

You do realize that its a shortened version, right? Like ur=Your or You're and ty=Thank You and LOL=Laughing out loud and so on and so forth. I imagine you know that, being the official Yahoo grammar monitor and all.

Just thank the failing education system we have here in these fine United States. As long as kids turn in work, I dont think the teachers care if they really learn how to spell or speak. Slang has just become too accepted.

Yes...its all part of internet shorthand...once you spend a significant amount of time talking/typing on it that's what happens! It's much like slang which I'm sure you're firmiliar with.
