When a warrant has been issued, the statute of limitations no longer applies.

The statute of limitations limits the amount of time the state has to initiate prosecution. The main way to initiate prosecution is to issue a warrant. Once that warrant is issued, it will last until the person is arrested or dies.

I do have faith that's valid everywhere. . . notably, if he's on interstate or some thing and State Police pulls him over and runs his DL's, they are going to see he has a warrant, and that they are going to hold him in then he would be transferred to the state that the warrant became issued in.
