I have 2 computer in my house and I always connect two of them online through a wireless router.
Router Name: Siemens Speedstream 6500 Series Wireless Router with Broadband Modem
Connection Speed: 1 Mbs
There is no problem going online and play online games. But when I play Battlefield 2142 demo, there is no problem for one computer playing. When 2 of us are playing together, the connection becoming very laggy and at last disconnected, when one of us stop playing, the other are able to continue playing without problems.
Can anyone fix my problems?

It looks like many people have this problem. It's not clear that Battlefield 1942 suports mutliple players behind a router (sharing the same external IP address) You will probably need an official response from EA to know if this is supposed to work - one guy claims updating his router firmware fixed it, but that's one success story out of many problem reports.
If your ISP provides mutliple IP addresses, then connecting directly to the modem via a switch/hub definitely works- the problem is, your Siemens 6500 is an integrated router/modem, so you can't physically disconnect the router and use public IP addresses :(
If your router supports putting one user in a DMZ zone, give that a try.
