If you diet, any trainer, or dietician will tell you that your body cannot matabolize more than 2 1/2 pounds per week in weight loss, and that everything else you are losing is either muscle or water. So how is it that on the show the Biggest loser these people are losing 20 and more pounds per week? They seem to be able to maintain a consistant amound of weight loss that is well over what trainers will tell you. How is that?

I have lost 35 pounds since July 15, 2006. That is an average of .39 pounds per day or 2.73 pounds per week. The first 45 days, my average was .46 pounds per day or 3.22 pounds per week.

So, it can be done. There are certain herbs, minerals, proteins, etc. that promote weight loss through fat burning and appetite control.

I have been using a system called Stack Body Tune Up.

If you are exercising 6 hours a day and eating basically nothing by comparison you can lose that amount of weight.

And

If you are 400lbs you need to eat about 4000 calories a day to keep that weight on. (that's just sitting still, without exercise) If that is slashed to 1000 calories you have a deficit of 3000 calories which is close what it takes to burn a pound of fat.

Combine the two...massive weight loss.

But...if you can't keep both up (low food and high exercise) it will all come back. Just as fast.

If you are significantly overweight, it is possible to start off losing that much weight. Some of it may be water though.
