not all women in general leave long mesages, I don't i get straight to the point and in men language you know really simple so they can understand, example like if I like a guy and I try to call him and I get the answering machine I say whoever I was calling to let you know that I like you alot and that I would like to talk to you, please call me when you get it also don't say you don't have my number,lol because you put it in your phone.:) see thats not long is it. For other women they just have to much time on thier hands and are desperate. Hope that answers your questone. bye

Because they know what men are like. They need to get the message across, if they leave a short message men WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND them!!!!!!
