Chances are she's been hurt, or is afraid of committment. You can't promise not to hurt her, but you can promise to try not to. Tell her she doesn't have to worry about anything with you, and mean it. Don't say it just to get with her, but say it because you mean it, and that you love her and care about her.

She just doesn't want to hurt again... That all. try to make her see that you will try your best not to hurt her in any way. Let her know that she can be secure with you.
