An Abortionist will say that an unborn child is not a person until he/she is out of the womb.
So... are ya gonna stop there?
How about when the child is a month old out of the womb? ohhh..why stop there? how about 2 months? 3? a year?
You already say that an unborn is not a person, even in the 9th month, and even when the child is being born (partial birth abortion) when they plunge a tube into it's skull and suck out it's brain.
Why stop there?
So how far will we go in the almighty womens right to choose, how about that un-borns childs right to choose?
who are you to decide?
How many Einstiens and Edisons and Motzarts have we killed because it was "Inconvieniant"
Dont get me wrong, there is no excusing rape or incest, that persons guilt is not in dispute, but to make an innocent child pay for that crime? is that Justice.
Right to choose.... finish the sentence..right to choose to commit Murder.

Why are male Christians so over the top obsessed with what goes on in the wombs of strange women? Is it some kind of twisted jealousy that someone impregnated someone else, or what? It's bizarre how many males screech about this issue -- and with such blatant illogic as yours.

you know, people argue this case... but really its quite absurd.

just like the fact that some 15 year olds are WELL mature enough to be treated as adults, and some 40 year olds might question it... theres variety, and it cannot be definitively nailed down to any one causal point.

firstly nobody who argues the "its not a person til its born" side that I've ever heard of, does not find partial birth abortion to be murder. not one ever has been in agreement with me that far, and not said "well, with the exception of THAT, that IS murder". or had an equivalent approach.

I am on the "its not a person until..." side of the arguement. heres more specifically how I see it:
first trimester: easy, not even the slightest issue, can be done at will.
Second Trimester: should be freely allowed, but discouraged moderately, no medical excuse needed.
Third Trimester, with the exception of partial birth, or extremely late (like... would barely even count as premature) allowed in the case of medical cause, or if there was some extenuating circumstance preventing it being done earlier.

theres no reason you can't figure out your pregnant, and decide, before 6 months, under normal circumstances.

of course, even the latest term abortion (including partial birth) is an ABSOLUTE OBLIGATION if the mother's life is in danger and would be preserved by doing the abortion.

>>"Right to choose.... finish the sentence..right to choose to commit Murder. "<<

or to the other extreme, "right to chose to not have a mindless parasite raping your body for 9 months, and causing permenant harm and changes to your body forever, against your will"

btw, babys born without a brain, that is, with just a brain stem, or effectively similar deformitys should be euthanized, or if it can be found before birth, aborted as soon as it can be detected.

I am not by any means PRO abortion. its a terrible thing for a woman to have to endure, especially later term abortion. but it *MUST* be a choice.

and this "heartbeat" arguement is nonsense. and I doubt most people who claim it are vegetarians or vegans. not all life is the same. you can't murder a non-person, not all human organisms are people.

but really you exaggerate the arguement you are arguing against, to an extreme nobody really believes, to make the very point your arguing against, when the people who actually hold that belief... don't feel it that way at all.

I agree with you.
But, we must make provision for the victim in a rape/incest situation. I am aware that there will be those who will try to abuse any right afforded them, but we can not let the criminal-or the guilty always prevent us from tending to the needs of the victim.
I believe abortion is murder, just like I believe that senseless killing is murder-unless the killing is justified. There are times when killing is justified.
I still agree with you. Zero tolerance is not the answer, neither is abortion on demand, or anything that would allow abortion outside extreme circumstances. I believe that the penalties for unnecessary abortion should be so severe that almost no doctor would even dare to take the chance.

>>>>How many Einsteins and Edison's and Mozart's have we killed<<<<

If you are going to apply that logic, ask how many Hitler's,Bundy's and Dahmer's have we prevented from ever being born.

Look, no one will ever agree on abortion, but I think we all agree that once a child is born, an unnatural death become's murder.

You are obviously very hurt and confused, and I actually feel a bit of compassion for you, despite all the hate you've been spouting. It's that same compassion that allows me to feel sympathy for a woman who would make the decision to abort in the first place.

You missed one of the greatest thinkers of all time from your ill-spelled list of achievers - Darwin! Oops, let me guess, you don't know anything about evolution? God created the world in 7 days, didn't he? And you support the death penalty for grown ups, right? When a woman expresses her right to abort a fetus that doesn't even have brainwaves until week 12 post-conception, you want to stop her. Please keep your hate filled, narrow-minded fundie ideas, based on pig-ignorance and lack of thought, to yourself. Thank you

My mother had me after 3 children and at the age of 42. I found out later in life that she had a pill given to her to terminate her pregnancy with me..... I'm so glad she didn't....talk about inconvenience, my parents just moved back from California, living in my grandfather's dirty house. All I can say is Thank the Lord I was able to live and I'm sure that is what a lot of so called fetuses would say too ... if they had the chance. My siblings say that I am the glue in my family. Just remember the ones you don't plan may be the glue in your family

You know, appeal to emotion doesn't work in such a case. Do you understand the scientific process of pregnancy? Could you do a rough chart of the hormonal cycle a woman goes through during a pregnancy? Can you name all the phases that the developing child goes through from fertilized ovum to infant?

When you understand the facts, you'll realize that pro-life is right for so many more reasons than just that book you're thumping.

How many Edisons, Mozarts and Einsteins were not allowed to flourish due to their horrid childhood and living conditions? What's with this rosy view of the world? You think once that kid comes slithering out of the birth canal that the tough part is over?

Bottom line on abortion: You are free to hold any opinion, but it is only the concern of pregnant women and their partners.

Even in the very earliest stages of pregnancy one of the first signs of life you will hear is your baby's heartbeat - within just a few weeks. Anything with a heartbeat is a living creature. God says in the Bible - "I knew you even in your mother's womb". Why would God say that if it's just a clump of cells in there? Abortion stops a beating heart. It's murder.

Your right, Abortion should never have been thought up of. Abortion is just plain murder. Maybe the abortioned child could of become a leading scientist or a billionaire businessman/woman. Abortion ruins that child's chance for a happy life.
