I agree that it depends on what you're eating. Seafood & beer go really well together, especially a pilsner or a Belgian white.

Howevuh... a steak & a pint of Guinness is a match made in heaven.

But uh, for the record... only drink water, of course. *ahem* lol

There was a time in my life that a beer was the first thing I ordered at a restaurant, then thought about food. Now, I seldom drink beer period. Never, ever drink soft drinks with food, not diet or regular, stick to good ole H20.... Sounds pretty dull but it works for me.....

For me it depends on the food, when i'm at a bbq definatley beer, with fish and chips for me it's coke, something fizzy!
