Have patience. In our current state we're only a few tens of thousands of years old. Evolution is full of surprises.

Because this God that you want to portray as so terrible wanted to allow us to feel pleasure. He wanted us to have companionship and intimacy with our partner. He thought enough about us to let us have that physical satisfaction of sex - a little bit of heaven on earth wouldn't you say?

We can't reproduce asexually because in the Garden of Eden man was lonely and wanted a companion and God cared enough about him that he created Eve to be his partner. That was God's plan. We as humans try to pervert it but His plan is the only right one.

Asexual reproduction produces clones.

No variety.

'O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)'

God knew we would need the love that man and woman have for one another, having sex makes a man and woman ONE. nothing more greater than love. then the love and joy you have from having this child that the two of you created together is most awesome feelings. God knows!

God, according to the scriptures, created man in His own image.

father + mother + child = human trinity = family

....which is congruent to....

Father + Holy Spirit +Jesus = Holy Trinity = God Head

In order for our tiny little minds to wrap around the idea of God he created us in His image.

About half the professed atheists I have known became theists after having children.

Asexuality would not reflect this complexity.

All I can say is, it is in Genesis.....ch 1 v 28.....And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over thr fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

It is said that the first human form was hermaphrodite. There
are humans today with male and female genitalia.
From what I understand about human nature. I imagine the
first humans were too selfish to impregnate themselves.
Therefore, at some point, our Creator divided the sexes, and
gave us a sex DRIVE, to guarantee survival of the species.

We're also an animal species-it would ruin the charade if we realised our spiritual nature so we have to procreate like every other primitive species.

Because in his plan, it takes a family to reflect the nature of God.

The two shall become one flesh.
