Not much information here is there. I hope you tell the vet more than that. But lets look at the logic- do you feed your dog dried food? if you do and the animals stops urinating or less frequent or pain. i would say if it is a male, there could be a salt crystal build up in the tract. and needs immediate attention .You need to make sure after you come back from the VET that you give it no dried food or low salt food, what ever the cause if you are still reading this E-mail and not at the VET'S by now you are looking at a prosecution for cruelty.
SO GET AWAY FROM THIS MACHINE AND GET THAT DOG TO THE VET: THIS IS AN EMERGENCY

How old is your dog? If he is old it could be signs of "old age", which urinating becomes a problem. If he is young then could be urinary tract infection. Please at that point take him to the vet and fill him with lots and lots of liquids.

The dog may have an infection, take him to the vet as soon as possible.

A vet check is definitely in order. He could have stones, an infection, a tumour or several other problems.
