I hope it doesn't, but it's not going to surprise me if it does.

The House of Representatives passed that great and much-needed enforcement-only bill last summer. But the rest of the people in Washington are so either out-of-touch with most of the American citizens on this issue or have their own dubious reasons (i.e. cheap labor) in support of illegal immigration that they just don't care what the people have to say about all this.

So if the federal government does not recognize the will of the people concerning this issue, it just might get that bad. That's because most Americans have made up their mind on this and simply aren't going to put up with the problem not being fixed to their satisfaction. Congress needs to recognize that and get on board with those Americans who, quite frankly, are pretty close to taking all they're going to take concerning this situation.

Since vigilantism is generally caused by government failing to dispense justice (in this case securing the border) that will probably rise and rightly so. Among the "regular" illegals, we are seeing mass influxes of Central/South American gang members including Mexico's worst scum of the earth, MS-13. Frankly, I think that anyone identified as a member of MS-13 should be summarily executed on the spot. The American Southwest is in for a rough go of it unless the State and Federal governments stop using this as a political tool and actually put the interests of the nation before party.

Yes I do. Just read some of the Q & A's posted in this section. Some people (on both sides of the debate) are just being downright mean instead of trying to discuss the issue in an adult manner. And it is not just limited to Y!A.

We already have vigilantism & gang warfare...aimed at Americans from the illegals.

If our government passes amnesty I hope & pray enough middle-class Americans will join together to have a CIVIL WAR!

hell yeah. As a thrid generation American of Hispanic decent I don't think it's fair to be catagorized with illegals just because I look like I might be illegal. It's also difficult when new spanish speaking immigrants assume I speak spanish good enough to translate for them and the cuss me in spanish when I don't translate for them.
