Muslims are allowed to eat gelatin provided that it comes from a halaal source. Geletin is an animal derivitaive.
The animal has to be slaughtered with the correct prayers being said.
we are also not allowed to eat anything from pig, dogs or a bird that has webed feet. (dont ask me why about that last one) I think there are some more animals on that list too as well as animal parts such as genitals, blood.....and many more

Can Muslims Eat Gelatin

Its made with mixed bones and skin, and includes pig bones and pig skins.

Kosher gelatin may also include pork, but there is halal gelatin available. Also, as I understand it, scholars are divided on the permissibility of gelatin. Some Muslims eat it and some do not.

My Muslim neighbour, a young child of 10, refused some gelatin Valentine candy I bought at Bulk Barn today. Where is the animal in that? Don't get it.

Muslims are not allowed to consume any foods that contain gelatin because it could come from animals. It's pork and not lawful to eat.

Vegetarians eat only kosher gelatin for the same reason, I suspect.

That's a goof with the film Jurassic Park, when Alex was eating a bowl of Jello after she had stated earlier in the movie that she was vegetarian.

Gelatine is made out of pig bones and Muslims are not allowed to eat pork, as it is believed by them to be dirty.

my husband is muslim, its because gelatine coes from boiled pig bones, and muslims cannot eat anything a pig as they eat s**t all day and this therefore makes them a dirty animal so humans deserve better quality food than that.
interestingly, if everyone in the world was muslim, what would happen to all the pigs?? would they multiply at the rate of flys??
