There's a neat Basque Spanish restaurant on 4th st east of Broadway (s. side of the street). called Euzkadi. It fills up quick but the food is excellent. Nice vibrant crowd gets in there. There's a lot to do in the area as well. I've taken many people there and never had a bad time. In fact one night I must've bought a dozen or more people there after a gig real late with no reservation and they didn't even bat an eye and handled it like pros.

If you want a great day trip, go to new hope, pa. There are great shops, restaurants, places to look at art. There are things for everyone there. It is right on the river so you can eat outside over the water or inside looking out at it. Old book stores, tattoo shops (nice, not dirty), antique stores, high end consignment clothing and fashionably used stores. I think there is even a little scenic train ride. It is great for a day, or there are a bunch of bed and breakfast places in town and just outside of it.
