Ice a baby teething ring. Use Hyland's homeopathic teething pills. That got me through three teething babies. Homeopathics are completely safe, no drugs and no side effects. These are good with Hyland's calming tablets for children too.
A frozen wet washcloth is great too. When mine were young enough that they had no teeth, they seemed to enjoy gumming my knuckles!
Good luck!!!

I found that putting some juice on one corner of a wash cloth, putting it in the freezer for about an hour, then giving it to the baby helps. They will suck on the cloth to get the juice at the same time the coldness will help numb there gums a little.

I used to dampen a clean washcloth and put it in the freezer for my kids. Then give it to him to chew on. It always helped for my kids....keep a few in the freezer. Also try some freezer pops. Good luck!

I always had luck with a soft, clean and cool wash cloth. And you can keep them in a zip top bag in the frige.
