its funny you should ask that question because i woke up this morning with a sudden urge to cut my hair very short, and my hair is also very fine, but i think having it under the ear or just on the shoulder with alot of layers should do just fine. Try to thicken your hair by using olive and rosemary oil, it works like a bomb.

Hi, like previous answers I'm not sure if you are a man or a woman...but if you are a man I can tell you that I have exactly the same problem. I battled with different hair styles for years trying to find one that worked with thin hair...but in the end I chose to take it right down to a grade 3 shave.

Alternatively, when I have the money I like to get my hair cut as short as possible as an alternative to shaving...I've found this to be a lot nicer and a lot less harsh. It just takes a while and tends to cost more than an all over shave....but the end result has a nice feathery feel to it.

The easiest way to make lank, fine hair look fuller and thicker is to wash it more frequently. When it's dirty, fine hair can look lifeless, but when your locks are just washed you get more bounce and a fuller look.

Choose a shampoo which gives your hair more body to thicken it and big it up! Conditioning is important but don't overdo it with thick creamy formulations that can weigh down your hair and make-it look lank again.

Give fine flyaway hair, bounce and body by blunt cutting - cutting the hairs straight across so that all the ends are exactly the same length.

Shoulder length or a bob style can be slightly graduated to give it more volume, while short hair can be blunt cut and the edges graduated to give it movement.

Remember- the longer it gets the wispier it will look. Better to keep it shorter if you want it to look fuller.

If you're desperate for longer locks you could try hair extensions which will add length and volume. Or, how about the temporary clip-on ones for a special night out?

I'm not sure if your male or female, but the best hair cut for a man with thin hair is a buzz cut.

well without seeing your hair i would suggest layers so that you can blow it out and make it look much bigger. that will give your hair lots of volume. also if you put a little baby powder at the root of your hair that will also give you some extra lift!

short in the back so you can spike it up with some gel and baby doll bangs with the top part parted down the middle and just hung at the side just above your ears

Pigtails with nice big ribbons is ideal . . . but for fine hair short is better . . . though maybe you can make good pigtails with a wig for special occassions!
