I have to have a biopsy done because I have a mass inside my mouth and I also have several enlarged cervical lymphnodes in my neck.

the biopsy will tell you what kind of cancer you may have, or even if you in fact have cancer. Other things can cause your symptoms, so don't put the cart before the horse.

Any cancer could possibly spread to the cervical nodes.
However, Hodgkins and non-Hodgkins Lymphoma are the most common. Also, cancers of the respiratory tract frequently spread to this area.

I only know what I experienced, I'm not a doctor. I had a big lump at the base of my neck and it was Lymphoma. This site has the best info on that:

Hodgkins disease, Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, any kind of head and neck cancer.

oh boy. when i had my squamous cell carcinoma in my tonsil thats how it manifested, by nodes in the neck.
