my brother's ex- best friend told me he likes me...both my brother and his ex- best friend are still in good terms and all...but it does't really seem right...so, how can i tell him that i just wanna be friends without breaking his heart...just cause i wanna concentrate on my studies first.

Go ahead and date your brothers friend. There is nothing wrong with that. Just keep it down to a couple times a month. Tell him of your studies and how important that is to you. Keep it a friendship type relationship, if he pushes for more than that then all bets are off.

From a guys point of view......What you said in your question is what you need to tell him. Tell him it would be kinda wierd, with your brother. And not to mention your school (that is most important) if he dosent like it, he might have had other intentions for your relationship. (not good) Any nice/good guy will reswpect that and if he dosent like that he would not be a good friend anyway. Just be honest with him!!!

You are on the right track and if he cares about you he will respect your wishes. He may wait for you which would really show he cares.
