ok i dont know who all of ya'll are trying to kid... but the best straightener...BY FAR... is the new chi that is out!!! it looks similar to the old black one.. but its upgraded! it doesnt fry your hair!!!! i have long thick, slightly frizzy, wavy hair, and i use it..and it takes me about 20-25 mins to do it, and to my standards! bc i will not leave the house unless it is perfectly straight! AND... its a curling iron too.. the instructions in the book tell you soo many diff things that you can do with it!! my aunts a hair dresser, and my hair is perfectly fine, so take it or leave it.. but the brand new CHI is the BEST BY FAR!

There are a number of flat irons, but the Chi flat iron is the best. It is ceramic so it won't damage your hair. It comes with an iron guard and silk infusion for the silky look. Expect to spend anywhere from $85.00 to $150.00.

One w/ ceramic plates. My favorite brands are Chi and the one from Grund. I own 2 chi irons - one for work and for home. They have lifetime warranties too so its the last flat iron you'll ever have to buy too.
