In the Body Shop I got a black head remover. It was a few years ago but they (or Boots) probably still stock them. It was only about £2 and it's a metal rod with a tiny hole in it. You push the hole onto the black head and it squeezes all of the black gunk out.

Cheap, painless and very effective.

I agree with what Wafflebox has written but do this after giving a good steam to your face the way is you boil water and then remove the water from the stove and put a towel over your head and cover your head on top of the bowl and let your face get the steam until the water gets cold but don't forget to remove the towel and breath fresh air from time to time as you will feel suffocated. You can also get an electric steamer which is for the same purpose. After the steaming is done remove the blackheads with the blackhead remover but be gentle on the skin as the skin after a steam is very tender after removing the blackheads don't for get to put some kind of face pack to close the pores back. The best face pack for you would be an egg white with some lemon juice as your skin seems to be oily. Let the face pack dry and then wash with cold water. See how it works. Good Luck. Also there is a St Ives Apricot scrub which is very good which you can use every week the instructions are on it. But first do the steaming one 2 times a month and see the result then start with the scrub. You can do the steaming twice every month it will help a lot

you need to use a facial scrubber atleast 2/3 times a week. They contain little granuals that will helps shift the surface grease. Then use toner & moistourise.

And then once or twice a month get a facial done at the beauty salon, it will help open the pores even more & get rid of the surface dirt. If u follow this procedure then it should clear it, once in a while use the pore strips just for quik fix ups.

There are some new Clearasil wipes and a cream out. Use both 3 times a day, b4 you get in ur shower or a bath and wen you get out. They should start working with in 8 hours and you will see the difference in a couple of days after use. I think they are around£2.79 for cream and not sure the price of the wipes.

As a follow up to steaming your face answers, you may want to apply an equal part baking soda and water to your face before you steam, then steam for 5 min. This will help to liquefy the dirt and oil that are clogging your pores, and make the blackheads easier to extract.

you can use clear honey. warm the honey and put on your face, make sure any hair is tied up out of the face. i leave the honey until cool and wash off with plenty warm water. pat the skin dry.
this will not remove all the blackhead at once, and will certainly remove stubborn black heads over period of time.
it is also good for your skin.

as to the cost the price of a jar of honey patience and time your part.

Oily foods like crisps aren't great. Don't mind the guy with the brown paper bag. He's a jerk

they wont go away permanently - an occasional visit to beauty salon will help keep them at bay - if you squeeze yourself steam your face first over a bowl of water with some chamomile in it. keep hands clean
