study maths, biology, psychology and english A levels

then go to uni and study psychology.

do maths because you have to be able to study statistics, english (language) will help you to write reports and psychology will give you a headstart. biology is a huge part too cos you have to lear about the brain and drugs.

im studying psychology at the minute - the maths is quite difficult.

psychology is very difficult and is not all about counselling or freudian theories - consider it very carefully as alot of people have a misconception of what they will be studying!

good luck

Do you know what kind of psychologist you want to be? That will effect the training you need to do.

In the UK the first stage is to do a BA or BSc in psychology. It's important that you choose a BPS recognised course (british psychological society). After your degree, you'd need to take another course to specialise in educational, clinical, forensic, counselling or whatever type of psychologist you want to be. There's loads more info on here http://www.bps.org.uk/ about courses, training, specialisms etc.

Good luck!

You have to do a undergraduate course in Psychology first of all. During that you'll get an idea of what kind of Psychology you like and plenty of advice available as to how to pursue that then.

Good luck - hope you make it.

Have you been to school? It takes 4 years of undergrad work and another 3-4 years of grad school.

You need maths/English and a degree. I have all of those, but it's a tough area to get into so I gave up!
