Read a lot. We know that intelligence is a mixture of heredity and environment; we don't know yet how much to attribute to each factor. But what the IQ tests measure includes breadth of knowledge and vocabulary. so having a wide range of knowledge helps.

Boost your IQ SCORE:

You don't have to review coz IQ tests are generally designed for the average person. It should not cover topics on farms, or fads, etc. because then, people from urban/rural areas would have an advantage. You just need to develop skills on analysis. IQ tests are somewhat tricky so don't change ur answers in a second. Do so only, and only if ur sure. Usually, the first that comes to mind is the right answer.

Prepare urself by answering online IQ tests.

The most important thing is to RELAX. Don't stress urself on the day before the exams. As said, listen to classical music--it really does stress-reducing wonders to the brain!:) Sleep early, eat breakfast, rich in sugar(brain food) *hours in advance so it will be digested and metabolized first.

Good luck!:)

America is going in the wrong direction. It was founded on the less intelligent and has gone down hill ever since. Before you jump to conclusions listen. America started out intelligent and resourceful. Then it was settled by Europeans. Most of these people were unsuccessful in their own countries (showing that they may have had low IQ's) . Criminals and debtors were sent to Georgia area. Later slaves were brought in. I am not saying all but probably most of the slaves captured and brought were not intelligent enough to not get caught and sold into slavery. Then the strongest and most compliant were bred to produce strong minimally intelligent slaves. Then the waves of immigrants started to come. The poor uneducated who failed in their own countries came. More low IQ's. Then we had wars that helped by killing off many of the dim kids who were too stupid to keep their heads down. But it also took a lot of intelligent men who were more brave and fought at great personal danger. After the wars came the social programs. We have to help those less fortunate than ourselves. So if you have more kids you get more money. And if you can't afford a doctor for prenatal care or to deliver and take care of your children the government will take care of you also. The intelligent make more money and can't get into these programs so they decide how many offspring they can afford. And produce fewer intelligent offspring. Now we have millions of stupid, uneducated, low intelligence illegal aliens sneaking across the border. The successful and intelligent are doing well in Mexico. And government agencies are trying very hard to give these freeloaders all of the same benefits afforded our other low IQ leaches. The result will be more and more and more stupid people living and bumming off of your tax dollars. Making more stupid kids. Oh and now with the no child left behind laws our schools have to make sure these dim witted brats can keep up. The result of which is our best and brightest Have to wait up for these shallow end of the gene pool children of bums to catch up. America is doomed to eventually fail. We need to stop supporting the dumbing down of America. If you agree or disagree i would like to hear from you.

This is a very sore subject to me. I really think it is in the hands of parents and the way children are raised.........but a lot responsibility also lies in the hands of our educators. The problem is, our eductators are not doing their job because half of the school systems are so afraid of being sued by parents, people get away with everything........which in turn is a problem caused by parents. It's a vicious cycle and I'm so sick and tired of our court systems allowing such frivilous lawsuits. It's a waste of money!!! And in turn takes away from education being taught and rules and moral values being enforced to make a proper learning environment. Kids are getting "stupider" at a fast pace and this is one of the reasons. Parents need to get a grip and let them do their job. If your kid does something wrong - suck it up and take the consequences. Let the other kids alone so they can expand their horizon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Read a lot. All kinds of different books on different subjects. Study other cultures, religions, history books, etc. But if you aren't interested in the subject, you won't retain the information. You are only as smart as your interest will allow you to be.

you can temporarily...by listening to classical music.
Also, you can "study" those types of tests, and therefore be more prepared.
