the other answers are spot on. the urination is just a way of reasserting ownership of the home. Even if the other dog was not on your property, your dogs sense of space may have felt violated. This is probably just a temporary thing caused by the other dogs scent or vibe.

Yeah, it definitely sounds like a territorial issue. Especially if she was doing alot of growling. She considers him to be a dog from another pack, and one who is threatening her own pack.

She is probably marking her territory after feeling it may have been crossed into by the other dog.

Mabie the dog next door is the opposite sex to your dog and your dog is in love. 'sounds crazy i know' but thats wat might be the prob. good luck with the house training.
