She could qualify for an abortion! If she is sexually active she should be using birth control.

this is a horrible situation to be in but if your sister is sexual active she should be on the pill or something 16 is young for the first baby. i would support her she maybe 16 but i know some mature 16 year olds. get her to councelling she will need professional to help her through this as it is 2 issues 1 being raped 1 coping with two babies wish her all the best and keep her chin up for her babies. ask her what she wants that is IMPORTANT

It is so unusual for a rape to result in pregnancy, the violence of the rape almost never results in a pregnancy.
I would contact this number 1-800-848-LOVE to get her help throughout the pregnancy, financially and emotionally, and if she decides not to raise her child they will also help her find a family.
Only .002% of abortions are because of rape/incest. Abortion is a violent act that ends the life of a baby.
The circumstances around this childs conception are devastating, but we are talking about a real baby here. This child should NOT be aborted because of the crime of its father.
Please contact me for further help.....I know my stuff, truly. I have been involved in the Pro Life movement for 5 years.

I will personally help any way I can, I would be willing to take the baby myself.

If she's 16 she's too young to have a child. Still, too late for that.

As for the new unborn baby: she's on the cusp on being unable to have an abortion. If she wants to get rid of it, she should do it quickly.

If she wants to keep it; what more is there to say? Let her live her life and be there as a shoulder to cry on if she needs it.

Support her. Bring her to Planned Parenthood or a pregnancy help center in your area. Make sure she gets the counseling she needs. Make sure she understands all her options; abortion, adoption, and having the child. Make sure she makes an educated decision. The main thing is to support her--she's going to have it rough but things will get better. Best of luck to both of you!

I hope she reported the rape. you need to stand by her and tell her she has option to choose from. She could do adoption were people would pay for her care and support her or she could go to counseling to get her though this. Your family is in my prays good luck with your sister, tell her to be strong she will get though this.

I would suggestion talking to your parents and see what they can do to help or contact a crisis pregnancy organization such as BirthRight. BirthRight and others similar to it are pro-life organizations whose main goal is to help women who are going through difficult pregnancys. I hope that helps\

Much love and Peace :)
