It actually provides extra support to the pelvic floor muscles which support the bladder, thus temporarily relieving pressure on the bladder and reducing the urge to go. Crossing one's legs has the same effect, as does "doing the dance," for lack of a better term. Kids do it more often both because their bladders aren't able to withstand as much pressure, and because they don't have as well-ingrained a sense of socially acceptable public behaviors. Of course, the maneuver doesn't work forever, as anyone who has had to take care of children with small bladders can probably attest...

you know, when you rent/buy porn there is this special area of the store labeled 'fetish'. i am certain you should find enough there to keep yourself busy for months. but seriously, you need to back off the 'kids' thing, you make me sick to my stomach. have your fetishes, i do not care. really. they are healthy. sometimes highly unusual, but under most circumstances, healthy. just lay off the damn kids. i cannot stres that enough.
