It's very questionable.
He made them dumb, then put the Tree of Knowledge in Eden and told them they can't eat from it. When they did he was very upset. If he's all knowing God, then he should know that they would have eaten from it, and should have no right to be mad, since he could have put the tree somewhere else, maybe put up a fence.
So then was it's God's plan to make us dumb, put the tree where humans could eat it, knowing that we would, and so he could throw us out of Eden on purpose?

Some people will tell you that God's will is that you don't think for yourself, and that you let God do the thinking. But I believe what Galileo said regarding the matter: "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God wo has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forego their use."

Yes He did give humans the ability to think for themselves and unfortunately they do; stupidly.

Psalms 86:5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
God's will is that everyone call upon the name of HIs son Jesus, and accept His as their savior. He will forgive all who have sinned against Him, but they must come of their willingness and not His, so they can be born again.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
To think for yourself as you stated, is to go at life alone, and that is not what God intends for us. He knows just how hard life is for us on our own, even if so many people don't see that for themselves.
Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
This is God's will for man...
Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
only Gen 22:2
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

do u really believe that the humans have ability to think. think about it seriously. i think at we are all the puppets. our strings are being pulled by God. But we are so much lost in this world that we fail to see the strings that are pulling us.

He DID. Or Eve and Adam wouldn't've done what they did in the Garden of Eden.
