she may be in pain take her back to the vet, and if that doesnt stop it you may just have to keep her away from strangers, some pets after getting spayed or neutered do become more attached to their owner. So she may just think shes guarding you.

Spaying a dog is not a cure for aggression.
If she was aggressive before that would not fix the problem.
You are going to need to work one on one with a behavorial trainer to learn how to correct her and how to handle her when she gets aggressive. You are should not let her be any where when other people are present. She should be crated or locked up when you have work men around. This is for their protection as well as your so you do not get sued for her biting someone.
Check at your local humane society or shelter or if you have any dog clubs in your area or rescue groups. They may know a trainer in your area who can help you.
Many times I go out and do only one visit and watch what is going on and then show the people how and what to correct and then do follow up visits on the phone.
Get some help from a trainer.

I did not see that you said how long ago it was that she was spayed. If it was recent, within the last couple of months, then yes definately there could be complications. We had a small piece of staple that broke under the skin. Made a small knot that was extremely sore. Does your dog have other dogs in the household? Is she as active now as she was prior to the surgery? Has she been treated differently at home since the surgery? ie, are you babying her, giving her special treats, letting her sleep in places you did not in the past? If so she could be feeling more alpha and is beginning to feel like you are no longer the pack leader. If her activity level has dropped, then definately more exercise is in order. Dogs need activity to keep their brains engaged and their sense of pack order in place. A bored dog can become very territorial and aggressive.

her aggression is not from being spayed... try placing your hand on her back hips and see how she responds... my dog did this as well to my cousin who she adores it turned out she had cysts and a infection which I had to have a total hysterectomy for my dog could you imagine but she is 7 yrs old and doing fine she is still territorial because thats her job females are better guard dogs than males.... maybe this worker was trying to do something he was not supposed to be doing??????? but have a feel around if she does not sit down right away than it was the worker .... dogs are a good judge of character since they can speak they sense better than you or I...... also sometimes when a dog is away from there owner they can be this way as well they are afraid you will send them away beacause they are not doing their job and will begin to do it better... my dog used to run every chance she could then we moved and she stayed with friends for several weeks she hated it now since she is back she does not run for fear she will come back and we will be gone ... same concept she is letting you know that she will protect you you do not have to leave her at the vet .... irrational to us but makes sense to them.... as long as she is not showing aggression towards your family members let her be and do her job.... just watch and see when she gets this way .. what are the factors surrounding this you know your dog bettter than anyone....

I suggest taking her back to the vet for a check up. Dogs can't tell you that they are in pain. If she has an infection, it's very uncomfortable for her and it's just making her angry. Have it double checked to make sure everything is okay.
